I remember being very young and flipping through my mother’s architectural digests. The photos of amazing houses, buildings, mansions, log cabins and other architectural masterpieces as well as the designers captivated me as I flipped through those magazines. I used to imagine which house I would want to live in and which bedroom would be mine. What reminded me of the plethora of architectural digests my mother collected was my current love of designer Irina Graewe. Her ability to combine color, classic and modern looks all in one room is astounding. Her designs are very whimsical yet accessible and she creates a very unique and inviting sense of style. Her website is www.irinagraewe.de/gallery_interiors.html.My favorite is her patchwork rooms but they are all wonderful and I would love to live in any of these rooms!.
