While walking home today, I stumbled across this sign that was attached to a scaffolding area. My heart swelled when I read it!. I am lucky to have seen it because I felt instantly inspired. It is true. Pollution is bad for the earth. I think the earth is saying “ewwww” in the picture. That is true as well. It’s pretty darn gross what is in our air, soil and oceans these days. Even our lungs, our cells, and our blood streams tell the story of all the harmful chemicals we come into contact with daily.
I am glad that a child decided to share this with the people walking on 82nd street. I presume it was a child anyway 
This gives me encouragement that kids today are growing up with a real and raw awareness of how important our planet is. This sign, in a sense is a form of Eco-activism, helping spread the word that we can take stewardship over our earth and honor ourselves in the process.
